4-Way Rally Lamp Pod – Fiesta R5

Taking rally car lighting solutions to the next level, the 4-way Rally Lamp Bonnet Pod from Lazer Lamps comprises 2x Carbon-6 Spot (3D Material) and 2x Carbon-6 Drive (3D Material) high performance LED driving lights, pre-mounted within an aerodynamic, lightweight Glass & Carbon-fibre composite pod, designed and engineered to match the shape of the Fiesta R5 MKII, or MKI vehicles (with supplied spacer kit).
With the complete system weighing just 3kg, the 4-way Bonnet Pod affords substantial weight saving gains over traditional lamp pods, while delivering lighting performance unrivalled considering the lamps’ size and low power consumption. Moreover, the products are designed, engineered, and manufactured in the UK to the most exacting standards, and benefit from input received from the very highest levels of professional rally motorsport.
The Carbon-6 Spots provide for exceptional long-range visibility, complimented by the Carbon-6 Drives which deliver a spread of light crucial to having the confidence to drive faster, and safer. Constructed using 3D printed Carbon-Fibre & Nylon composite material (CF-PA12), the lamps all profit from E-mark certification, a mode enabled via a touchscreen Dashboard Controller. Additionally, the Dashboard Controller allows for operation of the following functions: E-Boost Mode, Adaptive Mode, Fog Mode, and Corner Lighting (requires LH/RH Corner Pod system).
Without the Dashboard Controller, the lamps are programmed to just operate in E-Boost mode. Utilising PWM signals to initiate the different functions, Lazer Lamps is able to provide the required information to control some/all of the different functions without use of the Dashboard Controller, if preferred.
The bonnet pod, made from carbon-fibre with glass laminate layers (to ensure compliance with some FIA regulated series), comes with the lights pre-mounted. The pod allows for quick and easy vertical adjustment of the lights +/-5deg, alongside <2deg outboard adjustment permits more left/right spread of light.
The 4-Way Rally Lamp Bonnet Pod is recommended for use with Linear-6 Elite corner lights, mounted in a horizontal orientation. A bespoke pod exists for Fiesta R5 customers, for all other customers it is recommended to mount the corner lights with our Aluminium Side Bracket Kit. Where the requirement is for corner lights mounted in a vertical orientation, we would recommend our ST4 Evolution high performance spotlights.

With the complete system weighing just 4.1kg, not only does the 2-way Bonnet Pod offer valuable weight-saving gains, but the lighting performance of the Triple-R 1000 Elite’s is unrivalled considering the lamps’ size and low power consumption. Moreover, the products are designed, engineered, and manufactured in the UK to the most exacting standards, and benefit from input received from the very highest levels of professional rally motorsport.
The lamps profit from E-mark certification, enabled by dual-output functionality which allows the lights to also run at a reduced output just within the limit of the road-legal regulations (ensuring compliance with some FIA regulated rally series). When operating at their full ‘E-Boost’ output levels the lights combine to produce 18,040 lumen. Through a combination of highly efficient high-intensity LEDs, advanced electronics design, and vacuum metallised long-range optics, the 1 lux line reaches to just over 950m, and with an excellent spread of light in the mid to long-range. With the colour temperature of the LEDs carefully selected at 5000k to improve sharpness and definition of the road and objects ahead, nothing has been left to chance with regards performance or build quality.

Optimised for Ford Fiesta or Skoda R5 rally cars, the Lazer Lamps Corner Rally Pods utilise our Linear-6 Elite high-performance LED spotlights pre-mounted within lightweight and aerodynamic Glass & Carbon-fibre composite pods. Carefully selected for their superior light output and low-profile design, the light output from the corner pods delivers short to mid-range corner lighting which compliments perfectly the long-range illumination provided by either our 2-Way or 4-Way Bonnet Pods.

With each pod weighing 0.85kg, this is a corner lighting solution which delivers weight saving gains over traditional systems, while simultaneously delivering lighting performance unrivalled considering the lamps’ size and low power consumption. Moreover, the products are designed, engineered, and manufactured in the UK to the most exacting standards, and benefit from input received from the very highest levels of professional rally motorsport.

Each lamp utilises a combination of highly efficient 3W LEDs which delivers 4,050 lumens and 1 lux to over 280m, impressive performance considering each lamp only requires 42W. Carefully selected LEDs, with a colour temperature of 5000k to match our bonnet pod solutions, provide maximum sharpness and definition of the road and objects ahead. E-mark certification on the lamps, coupled with the pods themselves being manufactured from carbon-fibre with glass laminate layers, ensure compliance with most FIA regulated series.

Recently re-designed to provide additional support, flexibility, and weight savings, the Boomer Single is a lightweight frame which, when combined with Triple-R 1000 lights, gives outstanding illumination for track motorsport and rallying. The design (patent pending) was developed in order to provide quick fit and release options, for fitment to any vehicle.
The Boomer kit should be combined with Triple-R 1000 lights and provides a lightweight auxiliary light mounting system which surpasses traditional lamp pods both in regards weight savings and reduced drag coefficient. For easy wiring there is a two lamp harness wiring kit available separately for simple connection to the vehicle electrical system.
